Last updated: 1 November 2026.This notice describes personal-data processing associated with the Network Quality Guardian website, enquiries and QoEProbe free evaluation. Processing details and retention periods must reflect the actual operating services.
1. Controller and contact
Legal operator:[INSERT REGISTERED LEGAL NAME AND FORM]Postal address:[INSERT REGISTERED OFFICE ADDRESS]Privacy contact:[INSERT VERIFIED PRIVACY EMAIL]
2. Data collected
Depending on the services used: organization name, business contact name, email, optional phone and country, account and verification events, login/security metadata, probe identifiers and device/platform data, public or private IP addresses, chosen test targets, measurement timestamps, RTT/DNS/HTTP/path results, diagnostic results, support messages and audit/security logs. Do not upload credentials, customer traffic content or confidential packet captures.
3. Purposes and lawful bases
We use contact details to manage registration and enquiries, account and probe data to provide the requested evaluation, and security logs to protect the platform and prevent abuse. Where EU GDPR applies, likely bases include steps requested before entering into an evaluation agreement or performance of that agreement, legitimate interests in service security and support, and compliance with legal obligations. Exact bases must be documented per processing activity; consent will be requested separately when necessary.
4. Recipients and hosting
The architecture includes Cloudflare for public website services, a hosted application/API infrastructure, managed MySQL storage, Grafana dashboards and an email service provider. Specific provider entities, hosting regions and processing roles are listed in the operational subprocessor schedule supplied to relevant customers on request, where applicable. Authorized personnel and approved support contractors may access only the data needed for their role.
5. International transfers
Account and network information may be processed outside the visitor's country, including outside the EEA. Where GDPR transfer restrictions apply, the operator must identify the transfer route and use an appropriate transfer mechanism (for example adequacy or applicable Standard Contractual Clauses with necessary supplementary safeguards). No safeguard is represented as already executed until verified.
6. Retention and deletion
Account, measurement, heartbeat, security, backup and enquiry records are retained according to the documented operational retention schedule: [INSERT VERIFIED RETENTION PERIODS BEFORE PUBLICATION]. A verified request procedure for account deletion and rights requests must be implemented. Some logs may need longer retention for security or legal reasons, where justified.
7. Rights
Subject to applicable law, individuals may request access, rectification, deletion, restriction or portability, and may object to certain processing or withdraw consent where consent is the basis. Users may also complain to a competent data-protection authority. Rights requests must be sent using the verified privacy channel above.
8. Security and automated decisions
The platform is designed for authenticated access, encrypted transport, tenant separation and limited technical access. These controls require operational validation. No solely automated decision producing legal or similarly significant effects is intended for the free demo.
9. Children and updates
This business-to-business evaluation is intended for authorized adults, not children. Material changes to this notice should be communicated to affected users.
